About the game
Reversi is a fun two-player board game played on an 8x8 grid. Each player picks a color—one light and one dark—and takes turns placing disks on the board. The cool part? When you put down a disk, you flip over your opponent’s disks that are sandwiched in a straight line between the one you just placed and another of your disks. The goal is to have more of your color on the board than your opponent when the game ends, usually when the board fills up or no one has a move left.
You have to be strategic about it—making sure each move flips your opponent’s disks. Sometimes, if you don’t have any valid moves, you might have to skip your turn. Taking corners is a smart move because once you get those, they can't be flipped back. But watch out for moves close to corners—they might give your opponent an advantage. The game’s all about thinking ahead and outsmarting the other player.
